Darja
Cvek-Mihajlović is a lecturer at the Spiritual University in
Ljubljana, the author of the book “Out-of-Body Experiences” and
the co-author of the book “Do we live only once?”.
She attended advanced study courses in out-of-body experiences
at the International Academy of Counsciousness (IAC) in London
and in Portugal. She took part as a speaker at three conferences
at the Jozef Stefan Institute in Ljubljana.
She researches out-of-body experiences, extrasensory perception
and intuition..

GOALS of EMPIRIC RESEARCH in the OUT-OF-BODY STATE
The experience of the consciousness being independent from the physical body and physiological processes enables alternative perception and an experience of inner reality. Consequentially such a state offers an infinite number of possibilities for the exploration of and learning about subtle worlds.The consciousness is free when we are in the out-of-body state and there seem to be no limits. However, the choice of the goal is extremely important. This choice matters, on the one hand, to have a clear view on the purpose and sense of such an undertaking, and on the other hand, to avoid the submission to exclusively personal interpretations. The choice of the goal thus signals our maturity: if the decision is mature, then the chosen goal involves spiritual ethics and the recognition of what is important for our spiritual growth. A suitable path of exploration also contributes to the insight on whether the practically experienced worlds are our subjective reality or they have a more objective basis.
