SPIRITUAL HEALING with IBOGA
The African enteogene iboga (bark of the root of the bush Tabernanthe iboga) and, to the Western community better known alkaloid of the same plant, ibogain, are believed to be a sort of a panacea with healing effects on the physical, psychological, social and spiritual level. In traditional medicine it is indicated in case of addiction diseases, as a detoxifier in case of addictive conditions, as a substance in cultural initiation rites and as a compass when searching for one’s “own way”… Do all these effects have a common denominator and how could they be described in scientific terms in case of spiritual healing?
The interconnectedness of micro- and macrocosmos is represented by the influence of iboga or ibogaine on the intracellular biochemistry, through it on the energy condition of the organism and its biofield, as well as by the placement of the individual in its social environment and the spiritual world.
Apart from objective scientific results, the lecture will also outline the differences and similarities between the personal and the collective experience of the individuals who have passed the initiation rite or the ritual of transcendence.
